This course is aimed at all those who care and support someone who needs to take medication. This will ensure that the carer or administrator has the knowledge and skills to safely handle medication.

The Human Medicines Regulations 2018 clearly identifies all aspects of safe medication handling and relates to the Mental Capacity Act 2005. This regulation is supported by regulation 12: of CQC’s fundamental standards.
