This course is aimed at managers and employees and provides an understanding of the Equality Act (2010) with practical examples of how to ensure an inclusive environment.

Everyone has the right to be treated fairly, equally and be included in the workplace.

The Equality Act 2010 brought together several legislations to promote equality and to prevent discrimination due to having one or more of the protected characteristics.

Within this course, Managers will understand what is meant by the terms equality and diversity, the requirements of the Equality Act, the different types of discrimination, how to promote inclusivity within the workplace and how to avoid unconscious bias when managing staff teams.
