What is Behaviour? – We will explore what is included within the term behaviour when working in Early Years
What do British Values and Children’s Self-Esteem and Confidence include? – In this section we will delve into the British Values and what we should do to meet the requirements. We will also explore how to support self-esteem and confidence and the importance of this.
The legal and regulatory requirements – Within this section you will delve into the requirements around this topic, in particular The EYFS Statutory Framework
How to promote positive behaviour – We will look at the differing ways to promote positive behaviour, including creating a positive behaviour policy and how to implement in the Early Years setting
How to manage difficult behaviour – we will explore ways to manage your own response to difficult situations, to ensure suitable learning opportunities for the children in your setting

Assessment

At the end of your course there is a multiple choice assessment to confirm your learning where you need to achieve 80% or more. If you don’t pass don’t worry! You can take the assessment as many times as you need.
